Rachel was born and raised in northern Georgia. She grew up in communities where family held a strong bond, and the influence of her elders and family members led her to a niche in quilting.
When not busy piecing fabrics and stitching patterns, Rachel has committed herself to becoming a traditional quilter with a modern twist. She travels far and wide for ideas and inspiration, teaching others the finesse that is quilting.
She and her husband, Shane, currently reside near Cleveland, Ohio, and have four beautiful children in which they invest their time and love. In her spare time, Rachel loves to research her family's historical records and delve into the rich tapestry of her genealogy. She adores brisk fall weather, and especially enjoys Starbucks coffee from the sidelines of her husband's football games, where she watches him coach.
