Poly-Down® is spray bond-ed to provide added durability and resist bearding and migration. Utilizing siliconized (slick) fibers and the latest bonding techniques, Hobbs is able to offer the finest small denier fiber, for the ultimate feel and comfort. The Siliconized fibers are easier to quilt and more washable than competitive products. Poly-Down® is the only resin bonded, Siliconized polyester batting in the world. It is washable, non-allergenic and can be used by both machine and hand quilters. May be quilted up to 6” apart and will not shrink.

Combining processes, fibers and resins makes the resin bonded process the most versatile and most effective way to produce battings.

Hobbs Thermore® was designed for clothing and miniatures but is very versatile and should be used where thin batting is needed or preferred. Hobbs Thermore® is made with 100% polyester and is surfaced treated with their unique resin bonded process, creating a polyester batting that is guaranteed not to beard or migrate. May be quilted up to 8” apart and will not shrink. Perfect for hand or machine quilting.
